• Urdu Education Board, Delhi has been established by an Act XXI of 1860 of Govt. of India (Societies Registration Act).
• Urdu Education Board has been recognized by National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, a statutory body of Govt. of India under Act 2004 of Parliament.
• Urdu Education Board is also recognized by Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
• Urdu Education Board is a minority educational institution formed under Article 29 & 30 of Constitution of India.

• Secondary and Senior Secondary courses of Urdu Education Board has been recognized by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Maharashtra.
• Bihar State Madrasa Education Board, Patna, Govt. of Bihar, which is a Member of Council of Boards of School Education in India has given equivalency to the 8th Standard, Secondary and Senior Secondary courses of Urdu Education Board vide letter no. Ref. 3336 Dated 07/05/13
• Board of School & Technical Education, Chhattisgarh has also provided equivalency to Urdu Education Board courses vide letter no. CG/EQ/1418 Dated 12/04/2013
• Urdu Education Board is accredited by the International Accreditation Organization, USA.
• Urdu Education Board is an Approved Member of International Association for Distance Learning (IADL),London, UK
• Urdu Education Board is ISO 9001:2008 certified institution for providing school education at Secondary and Senior Secondary level, various UGC & Govt. recognized Degree/ Diploma and Vocational courses.
• Urdu Education board is affiliated with International Institute of Professional Studies, Ontario, Canada for higher education in Canada.
• The secondary and senior secondary courses of Urdu Education Board are also accepted by International Institute of Professional Studies, Ontario, Canada for further higher studies in Ontario, Canada.

• Centre for Women's Condensed course run by Dr. Zakir Hussain Memorial Welfare Society has permitted students of Urdu Education Board to take admission in the Vocational and School level courses of 10th & 12th standard (the certificate of 10th & 12th standard will be awarded by Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi - A Central University recognized by University Grants Commission, Govt. of India).
• Shyam Lal College of Delhi University- (A Central University recognized by University Grants Commission, Govt. of India has accorded approval for admission of students of secondary and senior secondary level of Urdu Education Board to take admission in their short term courses which is conducted in collaboration with R. K Films.)
• Students of Urdu Education Board of secondary and senior secondary level are eligible for admission in the School of Aeronautics, which is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India for admission in Commercial Pilot Training, An Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Safety Training, Air Traffic Management/ Controller courses etc,.
• The course of secondary and senior secondary level of Urdu Education Board has been recognized by Dr. Shahrukh Khan Medical College & Hospital and the students of Urdu Education Board have been permitted to take admission and pursue MBBS course run by the college.
