Aims & Objective

1. To promote Urdu Education across the country.
2. To start with, the Board will run 8th Standard, Secondary and Senior Secondary level courses in Urdu, English and Hindi medium on the pattern of National Institute of Open Schooling, an autonomous body under Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
3. To open schools and institutions all over of India and abroad for promotion of Urdu Education especially for the students of Muslim Minority Community and weaker section of the society.
4. To affiliate School/College/Institute and NGO for successful running of Urdu Education Board courses all over India and abroad.
5. To seek recognition/equivalency of Secondary and Senior Secondary courses of Urdu Education Board from different State Boards/Central Govt./Universities/Institutions all over India and abroad.
6. To run the courses of Urdu Education Board on Regular and Open Schooling System all over India and abroad.
7. To conduct public examination and evaluation of Schools/ Institutions /Madarsas
8. To extend necessary help to the Schools/ Institutions /Madarsas.
9. To work for the upliftment of Urdu speaking community especially for the Muslim Minority Community and weaker section of the society.
10. To extend help and support to the students of Muslim Minority Community and weaker section of the Society with especial emphasis on girls education.
11. To impart quality education to the students of Muslim Minority Community and weaker section of the society.
12. To sponsor desirous students especially Muslim Minority Community and weaker section of the society who are unable to pursue their studies due to financial constrains despite interests in their studies.
13. To provide necessary assistance, if required for the promotion of Urdu Education.
14. To enhance opportunities for education in Urdu language especially for the students of Muslim Minority Community.
15. To establish Regional Centers/Study Centers/Information Centers of the Board for close coordination with the Schools/Institutions/Madarsas for promotion of Urdu Education and to assist them in the process of their running for upliftment of Urdu Education.
16. To award Scholarships to deserving brilliant students.
17. To assist the students studying in Urdu in their research, documentation and preservation of art and heritage of Urdu Language.
18. To run various Technical and Professional courses for the upliftment of Urdu speaking community.
19. To run short term, certificate, vocational education, diploma and degree courses in Urdu also.
20. To establish Vocational Training Centers, Schools, Institute, Hostels, Libraries, Research Centers all over India and abroad.
21. To provide theoretical assistance and training to the students studying in Urdu Education Board.
22. To conduct research studies, surveys, impact studies and evaluation of various Urdu programmes in promoting Urdu Education.
23. To produce Educational Films, Documentaries, Short Films etc for various Ministries, Govt. /non-Govt. and International Organization and Television Channels for education purpose and for the awareness of the society.
24. To publish Newspapers, Magazines, Books, Newsletters and other relevant documents in Urdu Language specially of Muslim Minority Community.
25. Any other work in achieving the aims and objectives of Urdu Education Board for promotion of Urdu Education and extend necessary help and support to the students of Muslim Minority Community across the country and abroad.
